Internet induced laziness

The best photo I have taken of him so far is the one where he happens to be perving at a short skirted girl in the lobby :X

Whenever I sit infront of the computer to browse a little. I get stuck. Loose all motivation for ANYTHING. Feel like everything is too hard and just want to sit here and browse forever.
This only means one thing. I have to get off my arse!

Ham bone soup

An easy snack or add some pasta for a light lunch~

Ingredients (serves 4):

1 ham bone
4 gourmet tomatos, diced
4 large waxy potatos, diced
2 small onions
salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil

Sautée the onions, half the tomatoes and potatoes in a saucepan with olive oil.
Sear the ham bone along with the veggies.
Cover with water and bring to the boil.
Turn the heat low and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the rest of the veggies and simmer for a further 10 minutes.

Pull some ham off the bone and serve with the soup!

Ham bones are so cheap and delicious. This one (around 1kg) was only around $5!

mmm eclair

Last week a new Bakery opened down the street. All the pastries they offer look sooo good. Ed’s favourite are the eclairs and that’s saying something because he’s not a big dessert person. Problem is though, the ambiance and decor are so boutique-esque but some of the people who work there… loud and a little crude, really put me off D:
Today I headed there for a coffee but when I turned into the store, the big lady behind the counter was already yelling orders and waddling around looking sweaty, mean and unpleasant.
So I went across to Simmone Logue instead :D and the barista made me a 'special cappuccino, Italian style, like me' were his exact words o_o;
I don't ever remembering them being that nice hehehe must be the new competition.

Grow hair grow!

I say this pretty much every year... then my hair will inadvertently grow to an annoying medium length and I will quite 'advertently' go and chop it off because I am impatient like that!

In February my hair was this length ^
I think if I left it alone, it would be at the length I actually like now.
but... a few days later I went and got this done...Which, is not the best look for me I don't think.
So now we're back to square one. I'm trying to grow it back... well I wouldn't call it "try" until it's reached shoulder length and I'll have to fight my impatient urges again!

Acuvue TruEye

Lately, my eyes have become intolerant to contact lenses. I've been wearing glasses pretty much every day since I've been to the eye specialist :( tired of looking like a nerd all the time.

My friend Nancy, who's an optometrist suggested daily contact lenses. So I got these babies!
1-day Acuvue TruEye.
With high water and oxygen content, they feel like wearing nothing at all. And the best part is, if I'm tired and already in bed, I don't have to get up and go fuss around with solution!

But at $50aud for a pack of 30 lenses, they're a little pricey, but it's for your eyes.
I'm pretty sure the intolerance was due to those Korean geo deuba w/e they're called contact lenses. They were quite horrible on the eyes. I have been wearing contacts for over 10 years and my eyes were fine until I started wearing them :( Now I can never go back to wearing contacts everyday. D:
